Taste Of Haiti USA | Chefs Cook-Off

Are you ready? This year the competition will be more fierce. Expect the unexpected. So, you really think you have what it takes to become the next champion?  Well, gear up and get ready for a competition like no other. Taste of Haiti’s Madame Gougousse Chefs Cook-Off will surely test your skills, your ability to work under pressure, in a short period of time and in a non kitchen environment. Taste Of Haiti USA | Chefs Cook-Off General Information and basic rules:

Chefs of all distinction put their culinary skills to the test as they compete for cash, bragging rights and the coveted Golden Pillon Trophy. Top chefs demonstrate and sample innovative Haitian recipes. 

Three (3) chefs will participate in competition.

– Chefs can decide to go solo or bring in a sous chef.

– Chefs will have 30 minutes to prepare a dish.

– There will be a mystery basket and a pantry full of items provided by Madame Gougousse

– All ingredients from mystery basket must be used. Failure to do so will result in point deduction.

– Chefs need to submit: a short bio (250 words max); a profile picture; ( we need to have a form the chefs will fill out)

– Once chefs have registered they will be notified if they have been selected for cook-off.

– Chefs will receive more details on rules and regulations for cook-off two (2) weeks before event.Registration deadline is May 1st, 2022
